Throughout life we experience many transitions that may create challenges we are unfamiliar with and uncertain how to overcome. These challenges can seem inevitable and learning to navigate these hurdles is essential to moving forward in a healthy way. Whether you are seeking tools to help address current life challenges, resolve long standing issues, or improve your overall emotional, mental, or physical health, therapy can be very beneficial. I am here to help guide you along your individual path and take steps to obtaining a greater sense of fulfillment and purpose in all aspects of life.
I work to develop a strong therapeutic relationship with each individual to foster safety, trust, and compassion. Through warmth, understanding, and a non-judgmental approach I seek to create an environment to explore your personal challenges, emotions, beliefs and utilize inner strength to cultivate growth and personal transformation.
Taking the first step to begin therapy can be an uncomfortable and difficult process. It takes immense courage to examine one’s life and make appropriate changes. I offer individual therapy and specialize in working with teens and adults. I am available for a free 15-minute phone consultation.
Therapists develop an orientation or specific therapeutic approach during graduate studies which is enhanced over the course of their professional work. My theoretical orientation is trauma informed and draws from several theoretical frameworks including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, existential, relational, family systems, mindfulness and humanistic approaches. My integrative approach allows me to tailor treatment to each individual based on their presenting concerns and their therapeutic goals.
